"We can reach many more students through our athletic programs, if we have the facilities to meet their needs.  Athletics is a pathway to excellence."

                         Craig Murray, Principal

Our Vision and Mission

Established in 1932, Grant Union High School has a long and proud history, serving as a cornerstone of the North Sacramento community.  The vision of the Sports Health Academy grew out of the long legacy of successful athletic programs on the Grant campus and the affinity the Del Paso Heights community has for these athletic teams.  Grant students will have the opportunity to be connected with a successful athletic program while learning about medical, marketing, and entrepreneurial skills that will carry them far beyond high school.
